The Egyptian Embassy in Seoul applauded Korean children from Eonnam Elementary School at an event Thursday.
The event was held as part of a welcoming ceremony following the students' recent tour of Egypt’s heritage and traditions.
The students shared memorable experiences of visiting Egypt, expressing awe at the Pyramids of Giza, Nile River and interactions with everyday Egyptians.
During the gathering, Egyptian Ambassador to Korea Khaled Abdelrahman showcased Egypt’s vibrant history, ancient landmarks, traditional music and cuisine, while expressing appreciation for the students from Eonnam Elementary School.
“This event is a testament to the deepening friendship between our two nations,” said Abdelrahman.
“By fostering cultural exchange among young generations, we build a bridge of mutual understanding and appreciation for our shared humanity.”
