Ateez cinches 1st American Music Award nomination
Ateez earned its first nod from American Music Awards, according to a list published by the award organizer Wednesday. The band is shortlisted for the favorite K-pop artist award alongside Rose of Blackpink, Jimin and RM of BTS, and Stray Kids. Last month, Ateez received K-pop artist of the year at 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards following the success of its tenth EP, “Golden Hour: Part 1.” Released in May 2024, it was the fourth most sold album in the US that year by CD sales, with 250,000 sold.
